This weeks sale paper lists Remington UMC .223 for $8 a 20rd box.

DAMN!! That same box is like $18.00 at WallyWorld...(if they even have any)...

I would jump all over that, but it's a couple thousand miles out of my way...

I stopped by Farm & Fleet after work to check it out. A middle-aged couple entered the store ahead of me, got themselves a cart, and started heading for the back of the store, with me on their heels. About half-way across the store, I jokingly thought to myself that they were probably headed the same place I was. Sure enough, they wheeled their cart right up to the ammo shelves, and soon started complaining to each other (I stayed back aways to watch). They eventually wheeled their cart away empty, with long faces. Approaching the shelves, I discovered the cause of their dismay: the .223 was all gone. As I stood there debating whether to get some of the 9mm that was on sale (I don't own a gun that shoots it -- but it was on sale...) another man approached, walking rapidly. When he saw the empty space where the .223 had been he let out a big sigh and went off, dejectedly.

Word gets around....

According to their website the normal price is 8.49 so just wait till it goes off sale. Better yet get a raincheck!
